Memorial Biography

Elizabeth Anne Biggins was born on November 29, 1983 she went to be with our Lord Jesus on May 28, 2021. She was the daughter of Doreene and Michael Biggins. Elizabeth has 4 amazing children, Lilly Biggins, Grace Biggins born January 11, 2002, Dawson Henney born August 18, 2008, and Addi Henney born August 29, 2011. She enjoyed taking them to the zoo, playing games, shopping, crafting, & photographing her family, especially her children. Elizabeth has 3 siblings Megan Kurtz, Brian Biggins, and Alyssa Spicer. One of my favorite childhood memories with Elizabeth was ice-skating & playing outside in the snow together for hours. Elizabeth was my first client aka the first person’s hair I ever cut. I believe I was 6 and she was 4. Our Mom was cooking or doing laundry, it must’ve been a little too quiet because she yelled up the stairs to ask what we were doing. I quickly replied “nothing” with my heart racing knowing that I was going to be in big trouble and Elizabeth proudly said with a smile “Megan is cutting my hair”. Sorry Mom, hopefully I did a good job! Elizabeth enjoyed cooking, going to the grocery store, and any excuse to shop! She was a very good cook! Even through her sickness and suffering this past year she prepared a turkey dinner for herself and a friend. After the New Year, and some Covid tests, Elizabeth came over with some family and we made a full holiday feast together, she brought everything you would imagine having at a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal to make up for not getting to celebrate together on the holidays. Elizabeth loved to connect with Jesus through worship music. She was a nurse and loved to take care of others. Elizabeth shared that she had taken an echo dot into her workplace with her and that the residents there commented on how they enjoyed the worship music she was playing, it made them all feel happy. Elizabeth started coming back to church when she knew that she needed God's help to carry her through her trials when life got too heavy for her and she knew she needed His help to change her life. Elizabeth was a gift giver! Have you ever heard of the 5 love languages, well we know what hers was! She had "just because" gifts prepared right before her passing for her loved ones. We are so thankful for the precious time we had to make great memories with her before our Lord Jesus took her to be with Him. We are grateful to know that we will see her again some day in heaven!
